Braydon Nelson

Braydon brings six years of collegiate experience and three seasons of professional baseball to the mound. He began his college career at St. Bonaventure University, pitching two seasons at the Division I level in 2018 and 2019, before transferring to the University of Tampa, where he played four seasons from 2020 to 2023. As Tampa’s closer, he earned First Team All-American honors in 2022.

After his final college season, Braydon underwent surgery in June 2023 to repair a glenoid fracture and partial labrum tear. He returned to the field in 2024 and has since built a professional career in independent baseball, pitching for the Oakland Ballers of the Pioneer League, the Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League, and currently the Cleburne Railroaders of the American Association.

As a pitching instructor, he draws on his path through injury and recovery to teach players the mechanics, arm care, and resilience it takes to compete at a high level.
